Anyway, it was a good show. Not the best, but it was pretty funny. Glad I was able to tune in live.

Good show, from what I saw.
I don't know if you saw it or not, but I did say what conductors do in the chat.
They write variations of the songs. For example, if a part repeats, and they don't like it, they take out the second one and replace it with something else. They also serve as a reminder of when to come in, and use hand gestures to create kind of a visual time signature. My best friend is a conductor, actually. So, I kind of know some of the stuff. They've admitted that they don't really need to be there, though. It's more traditional than anything else now.
