Important News + It's April and We Need VOTES!

It's April 1st and after finishing March at 9th place on podcast alley, I KNOW there are slackers out there that haven't been voting. 

Here's some truth for you guys:
It is incredibly hard keeping Wreckless Media Radio going in this current economic climate.  I am paying lots of money that I just don't have, just to entertain you.  If you people want the show to be around still then you HAVE to do your part.  The only way we can continue is if we get more people listening.  More listeners means more opportunities for VIP sign ups, advertising, and other listenership benefits.  Everyone needs to get their friends and families hooked on the show.  Seriously, tell people about it.  Burn the show to CD and play it in your car.  Blare over your computer speakers at family events or the office.  Get people listening.  It is the ONLY way this show will survive.

Besides your daily duty of getting people to listen, we absolutely, positively, NEED you people to vote for us on Podcast alley.  I know I sound like a broken record and you people are pry sick of hearing it but it is seriously vital that we stay in the top 10 of podcast alley every month.  Do you think I like sounding like a douche bag whoring out http://wrecklessmediaradio.com/vote?  Well, yes... I do. But that's besides the point.  It is important, and that's why I do it.

And our final conquest of marketing that NEEDS to happen for the show to survive, is we have got to get on the iTunes Featured Comedy podcasts section.  Which you iTunes users have been doing a great job lately.  We have a lot more reviews and ratings than most of the podcasts on the featured section.  Which pisses me off.  I guess we just need more iTunes "power users" to rate and comment. Oh, and SUBSCRIBE TO US ON ITUNES! That doesn't seem very fair.  What kind of shit do they rent out to their customers?  I'd hate to be dealing with Hannah Montana movies more than I would being partners with an offensive podcast.

I voted once I got the e-mail. I'm also trying to do my part to attract new listeners. I'm planning on doing another Flash animation, which will hopefully get front page on Newgrounds. (Just like LazyMuffin's did... that's how I found out about the show originally.)

I'm trying to think of other ways to get listeners, besides just telling my friends and generally being a hype-man for you guys in Philly.

Yeah I know a lot of people like that and it gets frustrating.  If you like the fucking show then go download it damnit!  It fuckin downloads automatically!  If someone has an mp3 player they should be subscribed to us.  Keep at them, eventually they will break.

Not sure if anyone's mentioned it before, or if you've tried yet.
But, you should try and get a segment into a GTA 4 radio station. Rockstar would probably appreciate the humor in the show, and you could set up a link to their site or something.
I also know nothing about how to get sponsors, or money for that matter. So, if what I just suggested is near impossible, excuse me for that.
