If it keeps pulling those suspension-threads/arms/splotches of goo it's hanging from all the time, it's sooner or later (within a few minutes) fall down into the water and maybe travel further? Unless someone either is pressing a button to simulate the convulsions OR they regrow them in time OR their goal is to float away and settle someplace better OR they're just fucking stupid.
