Okay, so I'm a little late with posting this, but in #123 Brian was talking about how Greg has been/should be going to a "Hacker Camp". For the past month, including the day when that episode was recorded/I listened to it, I was at a so-called "Hacker Camp" at University of Michigan. Coming all the way from Maryland to go to this camp, I was also extremely tempted to sneak off the campus and come drop in on WMR while it was recording or something because it was as close as I've ever been to the show. Anyway, this camp goes on for a couple months every summer, and I suggest Greg be a counselor. All you do at the camp is learn how to hack, program, and play Counter-Strike. You are actually basically required to play at least 2 hours of Counter-Strike a day. In free time, there were rave-parties.(see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2t3YfRrmTMU) It is a geek's paradise. In fact, so much craziness went on, that five kids got thrown out over two sessions for fighting(2 kids), sex(2 kids), and hacking/fork bombing (1 kid). I think this atmosphere would appeal to our beloved Evil Greg, and I really think he should apply for a job next summer. Maybe the entire WMR crew. Just a thought. I wish I dropped by for the podcast when I was in the US. But I was in Princeton, NJ, that's still a big trip to go to Detroit, MI. Guess I'll have to visit you guys once I got the cash and free time.

Apparently not. The camp director woman suspected I was in a "sexual" relationship with someone (probably because I was one of the two girls at the camp) even though I wasn't actually, so she made all the counselors buy condoms and bananas and haze the poor guy. He treated me like shit after that  And yeah, Zomb. The raves were fucking sweet. My friend bought the domain http://giantshaft.com, and turned it into a rave-site, which is what is playing in the background. |

haha, seems like a nice idea for a camp although sounds a little skiddy. edit: just read the site Java Programming, C++ Programming, C# Programming, Seems alright but still C and ASM over Java and C# any day, but C++ is useful. |

Put an axe into an axe... Actually, gibosn guitars has some models that tune themselves... roboguitar I think. maybe you can hack the chip in those. :-) |
