Later on this episode it showed his wife who left him because he cut off his legs and it shows him walking around.  He doesn't use a wheelchair or anything, he just walks around on his stubs.  He doesn't even wear shoes or anything like that.

im sure the reason anyone would cut off their legs is so they would be short enough to play in kids entertainment centres or so they could join midget mud wrestling , either options pretty good
