I hate when people call in. Because Man-who-lives-in-the-sky damn it, every call sucks.
Except for Diis, GPM, and sometimes MidnightGolfer, all of whom should call in more often

I try to keep the calls relevant. I like how Red Bar handles their callers. I think Mike just has Skype on auto-accept calls and then he has the caller on mute until he says "caller, you're on the show". This way, the caller has a few seconds to make sure the sound works right and he can hear the current topic without the one minute delay (from stickam or youStream). You might wanna try that out, just keep the fader with the skype audio down and raise it up when you want to talk to the caller.

I'm just gonna silence the ringer. RBR doesn't auto accept calls, I think he just has the call sound muted.
And Funky, I don't think we need to copy RBR.

I've tried to listen to a few RBR shows and in my opinion, they're pretty fucking dry.... but when Mike D is on WMR, Brian and Mike feed off of each others comedy. Which in turn makes it a very enjoyable experience

Yea buy there are somethings that (like getting all the fans to put 'listening to rbr' on facebook/twitter) that wmr could draw from... I mean mike is an experienced podcastr not like I'm detracting from wmr or anything

Then you should probably get the dick out of your eyes and read it again. It makes sense.

Actually it did make sense, believe it or not. I see what your saying but you have to remember that Mike does RBR full time. I have atleast 10 projects going on at any givin time. If people want to market WMR for us feel free. Do whatever it takes to get more people listening. But I don't always have time to put into marketing.

We got interns who do some marketing because it takes sooo much time. Advertising on terrestrial or sattelite could work though. Then again, there's not that much money in VIP and donations.
