Skyward Swooooooord
So far, miles better than grim dark hur dur Twilight Princess.
Nah, I liked Twilight Princess, it just tried too hard to be dark and serious. Plus this new villain is hilarious, I love his dance moves. Plus plus the environment is great, not just a giant field or ocean you have to drag through to get from place to place. I'd still prefer to use just a normal controller as opposed to the wii-mote, but I'm starting to get used to it, and swinging around a sword is a little fun.

mah niggaaaa. though I loved sailing around in windwaker and the teleportation thing made the sailing alot easier.

Yeah, the motion controls took me a while to get used to, too, but I do enjoy it now.
I don't think I'll find myself saying "I can never go back to buttons again", but still, nice.

I still need to find my way around the desert area.

I can't stand flying on the bird, took me forever to even figure it out. I always find it tedious trying to get him to do the sword move that I want him to do as well. Hopefully they can continue to make advances on this type of controller and really perfect it.

@C0mBineD: Yeaahh, but before you got the toad twister things it would take forever to get from island to island. I remember changing the channel, watching TV, then changing it back to the game and still not reaching the destination, so that says something about that. But ocean aside, Wind Waker was indeed an amazing game. Loved the Ganon in that game.

@Biggy: Oh God, it took me forever to get used to the bird. Then he would do that thing where he just flaps and not go anywhere which made me want to brutally murder that bird. Bah.

Also, those expressions~

Also also, that Linkbutt

Also also also, yes.

The bird flying is... okaaaayyyy, I guess.
Kinda gives me bad Vietnam flashbacks of the manta ray surfing segments in Super Mario Galaxy, though.
It's not that terrible, but the controls are identical.
I do kinda hope there's some kinda warp system or something later in the game, flying from place to place takes a while.

Necro-bump of the dead...and also a double-post, apparently. Sorry.  Sad

I got Xenoblade last week.

Aside from being a good game in it's own right, it's also great to see how whenever you change a character's armor/outfit, it retains the changes in cutscenes.

It's also great because you can just outright remove the female characters clothes and have them run around in their underwear the whole game... I got mild amusement out of that.

Also, last night I downloaded a PS1 emulator (I said this in another thread),
Been playing the original Spyro the Dragon a lot.

Spyro is fantastic! ...Until Insomniac Games stopped working with it. So  PS1 is good for those games.

Have You ever played Saga Frontier? It's like Final Fantasy but the gameplay changes depending on who you choose to play as. I recommend it.

The first Legend of Spyro was terrible.
Couldn't play it past the first two hours.

I know what you mean.

The first GBA game I got was Spyro 2 Season of Flame (which is a pretty good game). THAT influenced me to get The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning.

Finished it in a few hours
Waste of a Christmas present.

The first Spyro on the PS1 is probably one of my favorite memories from childhood. I'll just go stand in the corner in shame...

I never really got into Spiro, I was probably too busy playing Castlevania or Glover or something.
I really can't lie, I loved playing Glover.

Found dad's Virtual Boy in the garage.

No sign of a Polybius though.
