I've had this problem for a while, I love introducing the show to people, but usually I just pick a random episode and hope it doesn't have a different feel than the normal Wreckless style. I usually don't like Clip shows, because it gets rid of the sporadic flow the show usually has.
I think 218 and 236 are both great episodes to start people out on - they're both recent and pretty damn funny.
Anyways, any recommendations?

Episode 145 was the episode that got me interested. I'd recommend any episode between 149 and 140.

As others have said, around 145 to around 151 is pure fucking gold. (I need to re-listen to that block.) More recently, 221 to somewhere in the 230's is also a really good chunk of shows. There are plenty of amazing episodes in-between, but I forget specifically which ones. The only one that comes to mind is the Mike D and Brian show (I think 161, but don't quote me on that), but that one shouldn't count as a good "first time show" for WMR since it's half-Red Bar.
Oh! 82 is great (despite the loss of audio quality), and 95 is insane.

114 was the first episode I ever listened to (because of the Aristocrat Joke animation) and I've been addicted ever since.
Also any episode with Greg Impressions is fantastic.

95 has a lot of the show's recurring jokes, and in my opinion is where to go for the best gibberish. looks like 95 is the most recommended show for new listeners

I've been listening since the beginning, and my choice would either be episode 61 with the Cho-VTECH shooting, episode 112 with the Bill coverage, or maybe even the WMR Mike-D Show. I think thats episode 161 if i'm not mistaken... those are the 3 episodes that i've managed to snare in my friends with

210 goes from sober ridiculous comedy before break to drunken nonsense after, a good spectrum of wmr for firsties.
