Why don't you want him Killed? This is the Asshole who murdered 80 Children in the Name of "Anti-Multiculturalism", and you want the Norweigan Government to House him, Feed Him, and Clothe him?
Because I believe people can become better, I don't want to throw away important Norwegian values simply to get "revenge" on this person.
Please take this into consideration, having someone locked up for their entire life (Norways "life-time" is usually about 22 years at max, while in Denmark it's 16 years) or just let them get away by killing them off instantly, NOT TO MENTION that we'd have to bend our strict rules for one single individual. That's not how it works.
Letting the guy suffer in prison, as much as possible, is another form of torture really and I think most people would preffer this.

The guy even shot the people who were swimming away and what not. The guy blames all of this on video games, one being COD: MF2 and the other being WoW.
Sheesh if that's the case, how come I haven't killed thousands of people yet hurrr.
Also this guy took steroids, loads of em, months before starting this.
21 years life sentence in Norway. There is a chance he might be tried in the way we would war criminals, something like crime against humanity in which case it has a possible time of 30 years. While I suppose being locked up for so long can be considered psychological torture the prisons in Norway are generally quite nice and well behaving prisoners in low security prisons are sometimes taken out on small trips outside in groups with a guard. Going to the cinema, eating a pizza out and such. I do not know if we actually give multiple life sentences in Norway. But I do believe we have a system where years can be added to his sentence if a large number of qualified people in charge of handling his case finds that he is still a danger to society.
As for the video games, I do not think he blames video games. I've not read the manifesto myself, but from what I gather he makes mention that he used video games in his "training". I find that like practising handling a string, a psycho strangling someone with a string is doing it because he's psycho and not because the string encouraged him. People who already feels video games is bad will take any chance to blame them I suppose.
