Now I'm not sure if the guy who emailed Mike had proof had the ISP said that, but I'm sure Mike will call the ISP himself and record it since he knows they'll give out the information.

If it's related to a court case, ISP's will give info.  Also the guy called over and over and eventually threatened to sue them.
