have you showed any of your friends the videos featured on wreckless? if so, what video was it and what did they say? i'll start off:

"Miss bunny tapdancing" - a buddy only said "im gonna puke" when they focus on the thigh muscle. i could tell at the end he was really struggling to finish it, but the only reason he did was because a sixpack was on the line.

"pickle surprise" - same friend. walked away when the black drag queen was licking his fingers. -roughly 8 seconds in. (should have bet beer on that video.)

"mexican chainsaw execution" - he screamed at me and said i'm not allowed to use his computer anymore. pretty sure he thinks less of me now.

BME pain olympics. Showed it to a gay friend and he went "Oh c'mon now that's one less guy I can suck.'

I showed a friend of mine "Disturbing Statement Shocks Party" animation by Yotem Peril and they did the most awkward and uncomfortable/unsure laugh and then stopped talking to me altogether.

Not from the forum, but the first time I told one of my friends about WMR, I showed them the clip on Youtube of the "Angry Applejacks Dad/A Game Called Peter Pan" skit. It probably wasn't the best decision. Now we don't talk about WMR.

I showed my friend the "Aristocrat" video at work and he laughed his ass off (same video that got me into the show, thank you Lazymuffin). He now constantly shows that video to all of his friends.

I think Lazymuffin can take credit for almost every listener that WMR has now. So many found the show through that animation.

i fell on the show accidentally while shopping around for new podcast to listen to at work. i downloaded one episode as a trial not thinking too much of it. i was doubled over laughing with my headphones in and knew that i needed more immediately. i didn't even know about the aristocrat joke until a few months later.

it's french for "you got me." though i can see it being viewed as a typo for "douche." haha, that's a great misunderstanding. lol.

For the record, I knew that but was pretending not to for comic effect.
