As far as these particular video games go, there's so much garbage being spewed it's incredible.
Battlefield 3 isn't nearly as fun as Battlefield 2, anyone who played the Caspian Border map during the beta can attest; it's a buggy mess with little coherency. What I mean by that is while normally you have a front, north versus south, in the larger maps everyone is all over the place. Even such issues such as spawn camping are rampant in the game, issues which are mostly eliminated in modern games.
That, and Origin
scans your entire computer, reads your text files and acts like a bloody trojan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0NSP5z7nBgOn the topic of Mass Effect 3,
http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/11/09/three-way-mass-effect-3/" Action Mode: “For those who want to emphasize action and combat and minimize story management. Action mode will set automatic replies in conversation and a normal difficulty.”
Story Mode: “For those who want to emphasize story immersion and minimize combat pressure. Story mode will set manually-selectable replies in conversation and a minimal combat difficulty.”
RPG Mode: “For those who want to explore both realms of story and combat. RPG mode will set manually-selectable replies in conversation and a normal combat difficulty."'
Yes, not only is Mass Effect 3 will be an even further dumbed down atrocity of it's previous two RPG iterations, this one will even play the game for you in regards to conversations, one of the most important aspects of an RPG. By this logic, Mass Effect 4 should be a corridor shooter akin to Doom.
This is why I don't play modern games, except for several indie titles.
