I do love IOS but I would never give up my android for an iPhone. But there is a new android phone out literally every week iPhones only come out once a year. Both are bitchin OS' just go to the shop and play around with the phones and see what one you like better.

I'm in the same rut as you. I have a samsung Solstice - literally the shittiest touch phone ever. It's more like a non-qwerty keyboard phone for beginners. Do you have AT&T?

With the iPhone I believe you can only get AT&T or Verizon.
So, unless you're willing to change carriers, I guess you'll have to go with an Android.

I also have the exclaim, what a shitty phone. Know that ticking sound the phone makes when you text? That's actually supposed to be a typewriter sound but they didn't make it loud enough. You can hear that it sounds like a typewriter if you put it up to your ear.

Get a virgin rumor!  actually, don't, shittiest phone ever. There's half a second of type lag from one side to the other, it has a shit ton of bugs that make you mistext people every 5 minutes, also it unlocks they keyboard when you get a text, making you pocket call anyone who texts you alll the time. I recently upgraded about a month ago. Just go into a sprint store, they have great service and help you get the best deal you can get. I was going to get an Iphone 4 but then they showed me the Samsung Epic 4G. It was the same price, except the samsung had 4G, a qwerty keypad, and the screen was bigger.

Just get an iPhone. I'm not saying it's better than anything else but you can't really go wrong with it. The 4S actually excels at making calls, a thing most smartphones suck at.
