^ I was listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers and decided to make this thread because I'm dying of boredom.

I almost never watch TV these days, I don't have Showtime or HBO or any movie channels. Occasionally, I watch The Daily Show, Friday Night Standup, Tosh.O, It's Always Sunny, or adult swim. But that's pretty much it (I have netflix, which I pretty much only use for documentaries). I have a home theater PC with XBOX Media Center thats falling into disarray, I used to have a sweet setup with TED (torrent episode downloader), TheRenamer, and EventGhost that would automatically download and organize whatever new shows TED could find for the week. It all worked pretty well, but now TED isn't under active development anymore. I know Brian has mentioned in the past he *allegedly* used torrents, but I can't confirm or deny that, but I was hoping he had some suggestions. Also, I know RSS feeds are pretty popular with some people, but in the past the only way I could get that to work was manually entering in each show's feed (if I found it). Which sucks. I hope I never have to see an RSS feed again.

tl;dr: I want a pool of what everyone is watching and how you watch it (netflix, downloading, etc) because I can't seem to find anything entertaining anymore

I don't watch much TV. But I swear to god, the Food network is actually highly entertaining for some odd reason. I can sit there for hours watching Chopped or whatever that Italian bitch is making.

Other than that, just South Park on Southparkstudios and Metalocalypse on adult swim for me.

Canceled the shitty TV service. Netflix is pretty neat.

I don't have cable hooked up to my tv. I watch things on netflix if they are available and I download (super legally and totally legit) otherwise.

Just a thought; if television studios released new episodes for download in HD at the same time they aired on regular TV, I'd be willing to pay for such a service.

FX has become one of the last few reasons why I turn on my TV anymore.
Archer, Louie, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, American Horror Story, and Unsupervised.

The only thing I'll watch on any of the major networks is Community...when that comes back.

I download my movies on http://x264-bb.com and most other things like games or TV shows off of http://warez-bb.org I use a Western Digital HD movie player I picked up from staples to watch movies on my TV. I sometimes use Netflix to watch some things when I don't want to go through the hassle of downloading and organizing it. I use file renamers to quickly rename and organize my TV shows and music.

pirate bay never watch tv

So you download TELEVISION SHOWS from the INTERNET then watch it on your COMPUTER?

That's really the same as saying that you're having sex with your hand.

Or rather that you never masturbate, you simply have sex with your hand... to be slightly more accurate.
