Too many people are congratulating Bryan (Corpo) for what he did on the most recent episode of WMR. I get his intentions, but as a person who knows how easy it is to get back-stabbed, I encourage you to stop with the fucking congratulatory posts. There were 101 more civil options he could have chosen that wouldn't leave Brian (Berris) feeling like he has to watch his back 24/7. If anything, people should be calling Brian a "hero" for not telling both of them to hit the road, and being able to deal with it the way he did. Nothing against Corpo whatsoever, I like the guy, but I'm pretty sure if I were Brian, every time one of you posted about Corpo being "awesome" for what he did, it would make my stomach feel like there were dicks and knives in it. -Mike D.

I agree only because I've always hated Corpo. At first I thought he had a ~cute~ way of making it stop but really it was the douchey-est thing ever. I don't know why I expected better? Anyways, I don't care if he stays on the show but I'm glad Mike pointed this out.

Actually though, I agree with Mike saying that something less extreme could have been done first. Like getting Greg and Brian together to talk, but nobody knows if Bryan already tried that and they just didn't want to. Since Greg said the only reason he came to the last show was for the mystery box. Also if Bryan had waited a bit Greg would have just dropped the suit because his lawyer said it wasn't a good idea, but nobody knew that but Greg.
I understand though that Brian might feel vulnerable knowing that whatever is on the last page is now in Greg and Bryan's memories and could be used against him if anything were to happen. Unless we know what's on the last page, there's not really much judgment that we can make.

Okay, I listened to the most recent RBR, and Mike D. explained it as that it comes off as a bit assholeish of the fans for congratulating Corpo for what he did when there could have been another way to resolve everything, and it could very well be making Brian feel like he can't trust either of them.
I hope I'm not getting too personal (or completely incorrect) by saying that and if I am, I apologize.
Also, unrelated and just curious, does Cleave have an account on the forums?

I'm not saying it's important because Mike said it, I'm saying I agree completely that Corpo is a stupid douchebag and that if the back page really could get them in as much trouble as they say it could, them being an offensive podcast that is prone to more trouble than normal people, it was stupid of him to put that on a computer where even if it's deleted, it could possibly come back. Maybe it's just paranoia? I don't know, all I know is it was a stupid move. |
