200th Episode Updates

Wreckless Media Radio Episode 200 is happening this Saturday and we are going ALL OUT. The show starts at 3 PM and will be going all day. We will be having a rotating cast of past guests on our brand new 4th mic all day long. So be sure to tune in to http://WrecklessMediaRadio.com and party with us! Lots of booze, lots of butts.

There will not be a show tonight (Thursday) because we will be filming a special treat for all of our wonderfully beautiful, pudgy faced, asshat listeners which will be available on the podcast feed for EVERYONE to enjoy. To make this happen though we need your help. We need you to ask us questions. ASK US ANYTHING! We have a thread up on the forums right now dedicated to your questions. Ask about the show, about the studio, about our lives, about our pasts, ANYTHING! But you better do it fast because we will need them by early tonight.

In other news, we are now completely transferred over to our brand new dedicated server where WrecklessMediaRadio.com will live from now on. That means a faster site and faster downloads. It also means more space to bring you our all new VIP section that has been completely revamped and packed full of solid gold content, which will be launching in June. The server has been graciously provided to us by http://BananaBit.net, which is leaps and bounds better than our past providers (aka DreamHost).

Did Some Optimizing

Did some optimizing on the forum and the site. Let me know if you find it running faster. There are still a few more things I need to do before it’s running lighting fast.

If you have noticed the site going down the past month an half it was because there has been some crazy database fuck ups. I think I have them taken care of but there is some major backend issues I need to work out to prevent it from happening again.

WMR Lives!

As of 6:00 PM today the new hardware has been ordered. This week there WILL be a show!!!!

I have been a cesspool of insanity without the show. Those who thought WMR wasn’t coming back were dead wrong. We are going to come back with a vengeance! I NEED to do a show, it is my only way to vent my frustrations with the world. We have all been going CRAZY not being able to do one. We wanted the show back just as bad as everyone else, probably more.

Finally we will have all the components we need to get the show going again. All thanks to the donations of the listeners. Pat yourselves on the back cause you SAVED the show. We owe you some badass shows, so stay tuned there is gonna be a ton of great stuff coming.

If the shipment doesn’t come in until Wednesday or Thursday we might have to do the show on either Friday or Saturday, but I PROMISE there WILL be a show this week.

So everyone fuckin celebrate!

WMR R.I.P…

If you weren’t there for the short time we were live and need an
explanation this is for you.

The show was delayed due to technical difficulties. We were having
issues with the audio interface (one of the most important peaces of
equipment we have). It connects all of our audio equipment with the
computer. Without it there is no show. After almost 2 hours of
hopelessly trying to get it working, it’s come to my attention that it
is completely dead. And as long as it’s dead, then so is Wreckless
Media Radio.

I would buy a new one myself but I just cannot afford it at this time
due to the economy and blah blah blah (I hate whining about economic
struggles), I’m barely able to live day to day with the money I’m
making. Anyways, without the audio interface the show is canceled
until further notice.

What I am going to do is place it into the hands of the listeners. If
you want WMR back then we are going to HAVE to ask for donations. I
absolutely hate asking for handouts but this is a severe situation.
The life of the show depends on it.

Sorry No Show Tonight.

After dealing with a slow computer for weeks now, I finally got around to fixing it. After a registry clean, virus scan, and deleting of unwanted files, my computer somehow took a turn for the worst. It is now COMPLETELY fucked which will prevent us from doing a show tonight. Sorry people but that’s just the way it is.

I will be spending my day backing up and reformatting my hard drive so we can possibly bring you a show this weekend to make up for today’s loss.
